Mortgage Job Losses
253,400 mortgage jobs in December
During December, 2,000 mortgage positions were eliminated, the Bureau of Labor Statistics today reported.
Compared to a year earlier, mortgage jobs were down by 27,400.
Most of December's mortgage job losses were in "real estate credit."
