LendingTree Production Earnings Overtake Leads
$622 million Q4 volume
LendingTree Loans saw fourth-quarter 2009 earnings before taxes increase around $1 million from the third quarter, parent Tree.com reported.
Earnings were similarly higher than a year ago.
But at the exchanges segment -- which includes mortgage lead generation -- earnings declined by approximately $3 million.
The loan production unit ended up earning more than the exchanges segment.
